El pasado sabado 21 de agosto, al interior del recién inaugurado Restaurante Internacional “Panda Junior”, ubicado en calle Portugal 198, se realizó un encuentro gastronómico único en nuestro país, en donde se reunieron 5 afamados chef
de comida china, para hacer una demostración de su arte y posterior degustación de estos exquisitos platos provenientes desde el oriente. Este magno evento culinario fue auspiciado por la Embajada de China y la Asociación Gremial de Empresarios Chinos en Chile (entidad a la cual el propietario de este nuevo restaurant, es su vicepresidente). Entre sus ilustres invitados, se encontraba una delegación donde viaja especialmente el Ministro de Cultura de ese país, y quien viene de recorrer, Costa Rica, Venezuela; y ahora nuestro país, para luego viajar a Francia.
Con este gran encuentro, los organizadores desean acercar aún más a estos dos países, sobretodo, en un momento tan importante para nosotros, como es el Bicentenario de la Patria; rindiendo también un sentido homenaje al coraje de los 33 mineros sobrevivientes en la mima de Copiapó, según palabras de su gerencia. Un hecho que habla muy bien de todos nuestros hermanos orientales, quienes ya en la Guerra del Pacifico en el año 1879, no dudaron en defender a nuestro país por sobre sus propias vidas.
Gran encuentro Internacional de la gastronomía china, a cargo de afamados chefs…una ocasión imposible de no resaltar.
