“Volare”

La canción “Volare” de Domenico Modugno y Francisco Migliacci, interpretada por Simona Galeandro ganó la 51ª versión del Festival Internacional  de la Canción de Viña del Mar, cuya última jornada fue suspendida luego del terremoto del sábado 27 de febrero que afectó a la zona centro sur del país.

Así lo anunció la Comisión de Promoción del Festival, informando que el premio a la canción ganadora se entregará en otra oportunidad, fecha que se definirá en la próxima sesión de esta instancia.

El tema ganador fue determinado en una reunión extraordinaria efectuada al mediodía del sábado 27 de febrero, en la que participaron cinco de los siete jurados del género internacional, ocasión en la que estuvieron presentes el director del certamen, Claudio Vukovic, y el Secretario Ejecutivo de la Comisión de Promoción, Vicente Gaponov, quien actuó en la ocasión como Ministro de fe.

Cabe recordar que en esta versión del Festival participaron 10 reconocidos temas de todo el mundo que compitieron con otras canciones con historia.
